Himachal Pradesh and Kerala
Himachal Pradesh is famous for beautiful valleys. Shimla is the capital of the state .The people of Himachal Pradesh mainly speak Hindi, Pahari, Punjabi and Kinnauri. Dussehra is the main festival of this state. The traditional dress for Himachali women is kurta, pajama and a head-scarf called dhazu and men loose shirt, tight pajama and a brightly coloured cap. Nati is the most famous dance and Folk music is the most famous music of Himachal Pradesh. The ancient art of  Himachal Pradesh has survived in the form of Temple architecture, wood carvings, stone, wollen carpets ,shawl, rugs, and metal sculptures, paintings and Chamba  Rumals.Himachali peoples very much follow the traditional customs of race, caste gotra and family and adhere to it. Himachal Pradesh has a number of hill stations such as Shimla, Manali, Kullu and Dalhousie. They attract a large number of tourists every year.
Kerala lies on Malabar Coast of India, Its capital is Thiruvananthpuram. Malayalam and English are the main languages spoken by the people. The traditional wear of the state is called Mundu or Lungi which is worn the waist on the lower portion of the body, from the waist to the foot. It is white and is worn by both men and women. Onam is the most popular festival in the state. Snakeboat races are held during Onam. Kathakali and Mohiniattam are the important classical dance forms of the state. Keralaís music tradition comprises the Margi and Desi style. The Margi style follows the classical tradition based on set principal while Desi is evolved out of regional traditions with a more relaxed set of rules. Farming is an important activity. Rice, coconut, rubber, cocoa, coffee and spices are important crops grown in Kerala. Kochi is an important sea port of the state.
